Branches

This is the name given to the Kirkmont youth group. We chose this name based on John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” Please click on the calendar link for our upcoming events. Please feel free to bring a friend to any of our upcoming events.

Why we are here:

• Introduce students to God’s love for them in Jesus Christ
• Build up students as Christ’s Disciples
• Send students out into the world with God’s Good News

These things are important as we go:

• Worship
• Community (Relationships are vital)
• Prayer & studying God’s Word
• Service (Showing God’s love to others)
• Fellowship (Yeah, that means fun stuff like Jello night!!!!)

YOUTH MINISTRY programs at Kirkmont include weekly small group Bible Studies (Action Groups), Sunday evening fellowship programs, Sunday School, mission projects, summer mission trips and a variety of retreats and concerts.

Action Groups

These small group Bible Studies meet weekly for Bible centered teaching, informal discussions, prayer and fun activities. These groups are based on age and gender. Studies are led by dedicated adults from our congregation who strive to nurture and strengthen relationships among the students and between the students and God. Currently there are four small groups: Middle & High School Girls and Middle & High School Guys.
